Keira's Provincial Park tours: Foy Park, Ontario Canada

Keira and daddy decided to go on a hike somewhere new. They went Foy Provincial Park which is now non-operating...

But the smells of the campers who had once visited the park still lingered...

Keira wanted to check out the old Ranger Camp first before hitting the trails...

She followed the main road past old camp grounds...

Until she found the camp just around the corner...

She was so amazed!

It was so big...

With multiple cabins that Keira was sure had once housed children having the summer of their life...

The colorful trees brightened the place up so it didn't look so sad...

But there were no sounds of children- just Keira, daddy, the birds and the wind...

It made Keira feel blue to know she wouldn't get any pets from kids today....

But daddy had a surprise for Keira...

Keira jumped right in!

But the shoreline was full of trees and Keira wondered if daddy had a better spot to swim in...

Time to go find out...

The trees were beautiful but so many had fallen down and since there was no one to take care of the park...

The trees started growing in twists and turns. Keira didn't mind the fallen trees though...

More places to practice her agility jumping with daddy!

They kept exploring and found...

Another spot to get down to the lake...

The water was nice...

But the bottom was rocky...

Daddy has to do better than this Keira thought...

As daddy hiked the trail Keira explored the bushes...

She loves the fall leaves...

Then she saw it...

Another spot by the water- the spot daddy had brought her to see...

A big, beautiful beach abandoned long ago but still very sandy...

This was what Keira had been hoping for...
