The magic of the holidays is in the air and I am looking for gifts to go in Hazel and Keira’s stocking. This is Hazel’s first Christmas and I want it to be special. I was really excited when I heard about DOG for DOG pet treats because for every item they sell they donate all-natural DOGSFOOD to help feed dogs in need! This is the season of giving so I had to get involved and try some of their products.
DOG for DOG is all about providing dogs with tasty and nutritious food, because every dog deserves that! DOG for DOG includes three different types of treats that I am sampling with my girls. They are all available at Canadian PetSmart locations:
DOGSBUTTER: Peanut butter for dogs! This product was inspired by all natural peanut butter at the Los Angeles Farmers Market. It is gluten free with no added salt, sugar or hydrogenated oils. A lot of human-grade peanut butter on the market today contains the sugar substitute xylitol that if ingested is toxic to dogs. This peanut butter is safe for my dog and it is nutritious too. It is perfect because Hazel loves peanut butter in her Kong!

DOGSBAR: My girls and I love hiking. Whenever I stop to eat my granola bar they are always eyeing it up like a bunch of turkey vultures. DOGSBAR is a doggy snack bar that is perfect for our walks in the wilderness. DOGSBAR is gluten free and great if you are on the go. They come in peanut butter or blueberry flavour.

DOGSTREAT MINIS: These kibble-sized, all natural treats work very well for training. Made with healthy fruits and vegetables these treats come in two delicious flavors- peanut butter and duck. Minis have a nice soft consistency and are a great stocking stuffer for the holidays!
I took Keira and Hazel for an early morning hike. The DOGSBAR was a great snack for the girls and I let them each have a bite- which they were eager to take! I let Keira go first because she is the oldest. I love all he healthy ingredients like sunflower seeds and flax seeds. It is the perfect size for my big girls. We grabbed some DOGTREAT MINIS to bring on our hike. More peanut butter goodness for my girls! Their doggy cousin Sebastian who joined us later was excited to try the MINIS too!
All three of them loved the treats! They are a nice and small which make them great for training. I try to find healthy snacks for my dogs because they both have hip dysplasia and I have to keep them lean. They are moist and packed full of peanut butter flavour.
What my dogs loved the most was the DOGSBUTTER. I couldn’t believe how good it smelled when I opened it. It contains three ingredients: peanuts, golden flaxseed and vegetable oil. I put some inside Hazel’s Kong toy and she went nuts for it. Keira loved it too and I was tempted to try it myself. This is the ultimate stocking stuffer for any dog and way safer that human peanut butter on the market today.
All three of these treats get the Paws For Reaction seal of approval. Give your dog a DOG for DOG product this Christmas! Your dog will love it and a less fortunate pet will get a Christmas dinner.
