Life hack: What I did when Hazel became too strong for me to play tug
My sweet baby girl Hazel is a Saint Bernese, and although I still see her as my little girl I have to accept the fact that she is 97 pounds of pure muscle. You would think that her bad leg would affect the way she plays, but it doesn't. Her favorite thing to do is to play tug. Unfortunately ropes don't work- she just eats them. So I was really excited when I found this Top Paw™ Tuff Tire Dog Toy at PetSmart that she can chew on and play tug with. Of course the rope was destroyed in the first week, but the tire is tough and she loves it.

Five years after the tragic accident that took her dog Daisy, José and her cat Nova are finally ready to welcome a new dog into their lives. This dog may be very different from Daisy but the one thing they do have in common is the love they have for their family.
Five years after the tragic accident that took her dog Daisy, José and her cat Nova are finally ready to welcome a new dog into their lives. This dog may be very different from Daisy but the one thing they do have in common is the love they have for their family.
José adopted Nyla in March 2013. She was a sweet little puppy. Nyla is
a mix- German shepherd, golden retriever, Chow Chow and black Labrador
retriever. She is very tall and lanky which makes her extra cute in that clumsy
puppy kind of way. When she was little she was a fuzzy ball of fur and as she grew her
coat became short and sleek. Her adorable ears fold over in a funny way that matches
her personality perfectly.
Extraordinary pet: Teddy's rags to riches story
Teddy has a pretty remarkable story. Transported all the way
from a puppy mill in Arkansas, Teddy ended up at Rawhide Rescue in Warren, New
Jersey. Thanks to the hard working and dedicated individuals at Rawhide Rescue Teddy
was connected to Damian.
Damian first met three month old Teddy at an adoption meet
and greet at the Petco in Bridgewater, NJ. One look at Teddy’s adorable face
and it’s easy to see how someone could fall in love. Just look at that face!

Slim down resolution: Toys to keep your pet active
For your dog: Angry Birds Tuff Stuff Flyer
This interactive novelty toy is tough and durable but at the same time this toy is flexible and easy on the dog's teeth. The flyer can be thrown long distances allowing for great games of fetch. It also hovers in the air- almost floating- and forcing the dog to stretch and work its muscles to retrieve it. Made with durable ballistic-nylon and double stitched seams this flyer also doubles as a chew toy for aggressive chewers. Play a game of Angry Birds with your pet!
