Keira dog enjoys the first snowfall at Pansy Patch Park in Pembroke, Ontario

Winter is here! It is Keira's favorite time of year- the time when a mountain dog can really shine!

Keira is excited to go to her favorite park- Pansy Patch Park in Pembroke, Ontario...
On the back hiking trail she dips her white socks into the snow to test how cold it is...
Everything in the park has a fresh layer of white dust!
In the winter Keira loves to bounce in the snow...
Her daddy calls it 'snow bouncing!'
The snow makes the forest look so magical...
Daddy throws the ball for Keira and she snow bounces after it...
Soon down the path she discovered something colorful against the white background...
A wall of graffiti along the back trail...

All in all she prefers the woods to the city and that is okay- so does her daddy!
She loves the green still poking out from under the snow...
She runs ahead to the top of the hill and turns back. "Let's go daddy!" Sometimes he is so slow!
At the bottom of the hill is the rushing water where Walleye spawn in the spring time. Keira is a little sad because it looks like swimming season is over...
So daddy shows her how much fun it is to walk on the frozen pond.

Time for more ball!
The snow makes it slippery...
And a lot easier to lose her ball...
Found it!
Daddy says they have to go- just one more throw! So Keira makes the best of it and snow bounces extra high!
She almost bounces as high as the trees!
Time to finish off the trail...
It is may be cold but the sky is blue and inviting...
Covered in snow Keira is ready to go home and snuggle up all nice and warm with her daddy! She can't wait to come back out to play in the snow and enjoy winter!
